MISSION STATEMENT
To promote understanding of all aspects of Brain Injury and to provide information, support and services to people with brain injury, their families and carers.
AIMS OF HEADWAY BRISTOL
To provide early and ongoing support for the brain injured their families and carers.
To assist the brain injured to return to community and independent living and engage in productive activity to reach their potential, whilst at the same time supporting the carers and families.
To raise awareness of the range and duration of the needs of people with brain injuries and to increase public and professional awareness of the presence and activities of Headway Bristol and at the same time participate in activities that will help to reduce the incidence of brain injury.
To promote improved communication with and between
other organisations or agencies involved in the assessment, rehabilitation
and community re-entry, of those with brain injuries.
To monitor and improve the financial status of Headway
Bristol.
To undertake and support ongoing evaluation of the role of Headway Bristol and the services it provides.
